Kalahari Ode was written while Carol Ann Weaver was in the South Africa’s Kalahari Desert in November, 2023, during one of the hottest times ever! The music, lauding the desert and its inhabitants, is a vital tribute to the sun in all its glory, and savagely beautiful ways in which it creates and sustains this desert. Kalahari Ode celebrates this unique place on planet earth, with all its dwellers and sandscapes!
